 Slavery continues to this day... there are multiple levels.

Notice how the ruling class and head corporate entities don’t pay taxes? They are the masters.

Free-range tax slaves = upper/middle/lower class. It doesn’t matter how much you make, whatever is left, they will take. If you make more, the tax bracket changes and they take more.

You can choose any job on the plantation for which you are qualified.
You get to choose any shack on the plantation within your monthly allotment of "money".
You can choose your own method of transport.
You are free to do anything you like in your free time, as long as you can obtain/afford the necessary permit, license, or fee etc.
You are property of the US corporation. You cannot transfer to the British, French or any other corporate plantation unless you get a "permit" from the related overlords.

Prison class.
The year that the abolition of "slavery" was passed, laws were also quietly passed making prisoners work. They moved the slaves from the plantations to the prison work farms. Slavery is not about race, it’s about advantage over disadvantage.
It wasn't "white people" that enslaved the Africans. It was the elite ruling class and corporate masters that control commerce and trade.
It's the same today only covered by this thin facade that any member of the herd can rise up with hard work and luck... and yet all those "rags-riches" corporate wonderboys coincidentally have blue blooded pedigrees when you dig a little deeper...

And if we do think, outside the narrative it’s just “crazy conspiracy theory”, once it’s such branded, the herd is programmed to discount anything that is said… like magic... only now we just call it "science".
